We distribute food, clothes, shoes and blankets to the homeless. We provide aqdvice to those suffering homelessness and also give them information of other charities and government organs that can help.

Freedom from Poverty

Poverty involves more than a lack of material things or money. Poverty involves when there is a lack of diginity, a lack of control, and a lack of influence.

Poverty Alleviators subscribes to an asset-based development philosophy that recognises and believe that, people who are equipped with knowledge and skills will ultimately live more socially and economically honoring lives and, therefore, will be better equipped to influence others for better.

£20 provides one person with food for 2 days. A gift of £50 can feed 15 people. A gift of £75 will feed 25 people. A legacy gift will increase your impact now and in the future. Planned Gifts are powerful ways to give and reach more people with God's love.

How to Give

How to give Whether you prefer to give cash, shares or through a company matched giving scheme, we will make sure your gift goes further. If you are a UK tax payer, and you’ve completed a declaration, we can claim Gift Aid on your donation. Meaning we get an extra 25% for basic tax payers. If you pay a higher rate of income tax (40% or more) you could be entitled to a tax rebate on your donation.
